About Us

Now entering our sixth year, the Digital CONNtent Creators, formerly the Connecticut Final Cut Pro User Group is an organization that aims to build professional connections between creative editors and motion graphics artists, independent filmmakers, students, and video professionals who embrace the digital desktop media revolution. We currently have have over 500 members and growing!

DCC provides both evangelism and advocacy about the industry that encomasses all forms of digital media on both Macintosh and Windows platforms. The group's focus will feature a blend of professional technical development, as well as a strong focus on the aesthetic of creating digital content. DCC wishes to be a strong media User Group in the area of creativity and imagination.

DCC will work to share ideas, creativity, and user concerns related to the use of media related software. DCC will be a new resource for intermediate and beginner users to such programs. DCC will provide interactive forums for end distribution of digital content, be-it for broadcast, broadband, or DVD.

DCC will also strive to provide resources from associated partners. We will utilize the Apple Westfarms Store, local and international digital video vendors, national sponsors, and our friends at the BOSFCPUG and Moving Pictures Collective NYC to provide a fun and promising information sharing resource for all members. Sponsor Digital CONNtent Creators in 2008-2009

Digital CONNtent Creators is looking to cultivate new financially supportive relationships with cutting-edge, industry leading benefactors. In exchange for your support, we are offering advertisement space on our web site (soon to be re-designed) and presence at monthly meetings in the form of promotional hand outs and sign-age.

2009 is rapidly approaching and in order for Digital CONNtent Creators to continue to provide interesting, inspiring, and informative guests, we are in need of monetary donations and raffle prizes. To assist you, a new policy for all raffle prize winners is now in effect per order DCC: Our winners’ names and contact information will now be submitted to you, our generous sponsors. This information can be used for product review follow up or testimonials as per many of your requests!

As a sign of good will, we will place your company name and logo reflecting the appropriate sponsorship level, until payment is received or confirmation period expires. Sponsors are expected to supply artwork and URL links along with payment to replace text. We kindly ask that you proof before sending to us. Invoices/Receipts can be made available for your purchasing records.

Levels of Sponsorship 2008-2009

RAFFLE SPONSOR: DCC will post a 100 pixel wide linked banner on the web site and return raffle winners names in for reviews & testimonials.

BRONZE SPONSOR: DCC will post a 200 pixel wide linked banner on the web site, return raffle winners names in for reviews & testimonials and pass out sell sheets/handouts at all Digital CONNtent Creators events.

SILVER SPONSOR: DCC will post a 400 pixel wide linked banner on the web site, a 75 pixel wide linked side banner on the web site side navigation barreturn raffle winners names in for reviews & testimonials, pass out sell sheets/handouts at all Digital CONNtent Creators events.

GOLD SPONSOR: DCC will post a 600 pixel wide linked banner on the web site, a 150 pixel wide linked side banner on the web site side navigation bar, return raffle winners names in for reviews & testimonials, pass out sell sheets/handouts at all Digital CONNtent Creators events, promote all news and specials in Digital CONNtent Creators email blasts and add logo to hanging banner at all Digital CONNtent Creators meetings.
