About Us

Now entering our seventh year, the Digital CONNtent Creators, (formerly the Connecticut Final Cut Pro User Group) is an organization that aims to build professional connections between creative editors and motion graphics artists, independent filmmakers, students, and video professionals who embrace the digital desktop media revolution. We currently have have over 500 members and growing!

DCC provides both evangelism and advocacy about the industry that encompasses all forms of digital media on both Macintosh and Windows platforms. The group's focus will feature a blend of professional technical development, as well as a strong focus on the aesthetic of creating digital content. DCC wishes to be a strong media User Group in the area of creativity and imagination.

DCC will work to share ideas, creativity, and user concerns related to the use of media related software. DCC will be a new resource for intermediate and beginner users to such programs. DCC will provide interactive forums for end distribution of digital content, be it for broadcast, broadband, or DVD.

DCC will also strive to provide resources from associated partners. We will utilize the Apple Westfarms Store, local and international digital video vendors, national sponsors, and our friends at the BOSFCPUG and Moving Pictures Collective NYC to provide a fun and promising information sharing resource for all members.
