The DCC is a user group that aims to build professional connections between creative editors and motion graphics artists, independent filmmakers, students, and video professionals who embrace the digital desktop media revolution.

The Boston Final Cut Pro User Group (BOSFCPUG) and Digital CONNtent Creators (DCC) are back in the Big Apple to host the 2nd Annual NY Post-Production Conference FCPUG Soiree in conjunction with Future Media Concepts' New York Post Production Conference on November 12, 2008!

Doors open at 5pm and the event starts at 6pm. Join BOSFCPUG and DCC and all of the top editors, dp's and motion graphics artists in the tri-state area for food, fun, and prizes!

News08.27.08- Not So Fast...

Digital CONNtent Creators will be co-hosting a huge Soiree in New York City on November 12, 2008 with BOSFCPUG as part of the Future Media Concepts Post Production Conference which runs from November 11-13, 2008. Keith Larsen will be temporarily filling in his old role as group leader for the event while he slowly hands off the reins to Alan Spaulding for 2008-2009. Watch this space and the events page for details as they unfold almost daily as Keith, Alan, and Dan Berube work feverishly to bring a party for the ages to the tri-state area.
News08.19.08- Take Me To Your New Leader...

Digital CONNtent Creators will be taken over for 2008-2009 by Alan Spaulding. Most of you know Alan from his help at meetings in dealing with the raffle and catering for the last year and a half. Alan will be tailoring the group in his image to bring exciting new ideas to the table. Keith Larsen will continue to help in an un-official capacity and attend meetings as a guest. Please take a moment to welcome Alan and assist us in gearing up for Year 6 of the Digital CONNtent Creators/CTFCPUG!

News04.16.08- New Leadership for Digital CONNtent Creators

In a stunning announcement at the NAB FCPUGNetwork Supermeet, CTFCPUG/DCC Founder and President, Keith Larsen decides to step aside from his role. For 5 years, Keith has carried the torch for the digital community in Connecticut and has decided that it is time to move on and persue other hobbies and career interests. He is first to thank is that very community for the support over the 5 years and wants to assure all of the members that the new group leadership will be stronger than ever and take the organization into a new era. Keith will continue to operate as CTFCPUG for special events in conjunction with other FCPUG's and continue to co-host "Plugged-In: The Digital Landscape" at Toolfarm.

In Memoram of Philip Livingston,
November 8, 2006


Philip Livingston, 64, of Harmon Cove Towers,
Secaucus, NJ died Wednesday November 8th, 2006.
Mr. Livingston was born in New York City,
February 1, 1942. He was a direct descendent
of Philip Livingston, a signer of the Declaration of
Independence. Mr. Livingston began his career in
broadcast engineering in radio at WVOS and
WVIP in upstate New York. He helped build
WOKR-TV in
Rochester, N.Y. and developed an Instructional
Television system for the City School District
there. Subsequently he served for ten years as
Associate Director for Instructional Resources at
the State University of New York at New Paltz.
Mr. Livingston was a 28-year Panasonic employee
and held numerous technical positions there. Most
recently he was responsible for Panasonic Broadcast’s
strategic business development activities.
For the last five years, he directed the company’s
innovative Technology Partnering Program
where he worked with more than 30 of the
industry’s leading manufacturers
to incorporate Panasonic’s leading digital
compression technologies into their
products and systems.
